Ventano Hooded Jacket delivers down-like warmth with packable, weather-resistant performance
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I took the Ventano Hoody on a damp backpacking trip in the Cascades and it totally held up. It’s super light, warm even when wet, and compresses down easily. Feels like down without any of the fuss or ethical concerns."
For summit mornings, alpine camps, or rainy trail breaks, the Mountain Hardwear Ventano Hooded Jacket offers warmth you can count on—without relying on down. Filled with ultra-soft ThermaCLOud™ AF insulation made from 100% recycled polyester, it mimics the loft, compressibility, and softness of goose down while staying warm even when wet.
The ultralight nylon ripstop shell resists wind and light moisture, while the insulated hood and dual hem adjusters help seal in heat. When the sun comes out or the pace picks up, the entire jacket packs down into its own pocket with a carabiner loop for easy clipping to a harness or pack. Whether you're scaling rock, logging miles, or pitching a tent in the clouds, the Ventano is a lightweight essential that moves as fast as you do.
