Here's what customers have to say
The shoes offer good comfort and performance, but have questionable long-term durability, especially in the mesh upper material. While some customers praise the shoes, a significant number report issues with the mesh tearing or developing holes within a few months of use. Some also noted problems with the tongue design and fit.

So close but no dice...
Almost thought this was "the shoe" for short and mid distance technical NE rocky trail (at least for me). Low but some drop, Vibram mega grip sole, effective lace system, wide but not ridiculous toe box. These shoes have a nice comfortable fit and superb traction. Unfortunately, the mesh upper might breathe well, but it's not meant for the terrain that the rest of the shoe is asking for. Similar to others, the mesh upper tore quite quickly for me. I don't mind quick wear on real soft rubber that is meant to really stick to rock, but these tears come with the rest of the shoe still in great shape, which is saddening (see pictures). To be fair to Merrell, the rest of the shoe was good enough that I have gone ahead and given them a 2nd chance and purchased the Matryx version to see how he durability compares. Maybe I was just asking too much out of this version. Fingers crossed...a potentially great 5 star product... that I hope lasts for more than 2 months.

Ok Shoe
Not as good of shoe as the Agility. I will buy the Agility instead of these.

Great lightweight grippy trail runners
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Great shoes. Light with great grip. Exactly what I was looking for. I have narrowed feet and getting trail runners for hiking is always so much better for me.

Horrible I can't believe I have to give it 1 Star
I had them for a month and the holes started. 3 months in and my shoes are completely torched. I used to love Merrells but this will be my last pair.

Would buy again, BUT....
Already have a small hole forming in the netting, but that being said- they're ridiculously comfortable and great. I am unnaturally hard on shoes, so thought I'd give Merrells a try. I would definitely buy again, but not a pair with the same type of netting!

Comfortable
Very nice and comfortable. Shoe size fit will, highly recommend. However not a fan of the colors.

Great Shoe
Very comfortable from the first run. Very grippy on rocks and loose gravel. Sheds water quickly.

Bad Craftmanship
I bought two of the exact pair over the course of a year and they both ripped in the exact locations near the outer most toe on eacxh shoe. Will not ever buy these again.

Stylish, but shorter on function
I’ve had many pairs of Merrill’s, but these are not my favorite. The tongue is fixed in place and is uncomfortable on my foot. I’m a daily walker, but are wearing these more for daily errands of shorter duration. They styling is very good, colors vibrant.
