Great Shoe
Very comfortable from the first run. Very grippy on rocks and loose gravel. Sheds water quickly.

Bad Craftmanship
I bought two of the exact pair over the course of a year and they both ripped in the exact locations near the outer most toe on eacxh shoe. Will not ever buy these again.

Stylish, but shorter on function
I’ve had many pairs of Merrill’s, but these are not my favorite. The tongue is fixed in place and is uncomfortable on my foot. I’m a daily walker, but are wearing these more for daily errands of shorter duration. They styling is very good, colors vibrant.

Looks great, but...
These shoes have amazing support and comfort. I absolutely love the way they look and the fit was true to size for me. However, I am very disappointed in the quick breakdown of the shoe with regards to the mesh covering. I began noticing small holes at the corners of the shoes where the toes and foot bend after only wearing them for a couple months. I wear these three times a week in a hospital setting, so a neat appearance is essential.

Uncomfortable
I bought these before Christmas and just started wearing them. The tongue of the shoe has elastic around the top which digs into the top of my foot. I can't adjust it. Also they seem to run slightly small. My toes hit the end in my normal size. I wish I could return them. I bought them for work, but they are hurting my feet.

Great trail runners!
Been feeling great from the first run! Work well on Wisconsin trails and pavement ice.

Winners!
Exactly what I need for my upcoming Camino de Santiago walk. Love the wide toe and secure foot support but also allows my feet to breathe! I think these are winners!

My New Best Friends
These shoes became a part of me so I could become a part of the trail. No clunk, no chunk, no tripping. We were flying. Upon first strap-in the upper is a little tighter and stiffer than the Matrix version, it was squeezing into one of my arches. That disappeared the moment I started running- they flex and move great while still maintaining a reassuring level of security. Even after swelling later in my run they never got tight or squeezed at all. I did notice that, while these feel incredible during the run, the initial feelings of slight pressure in my arch returned during walking after my run. Contrary to some store's sales slogans, not every running shoe makes a good walking shoe. So I will be using these strictly for the running days and not the intervals - which suits me fine because I need alternating shoes, but that is why I gave four stars instead of five. That will probably dissipate as they get worn as well. The toe box isn't a box shape or flared out but there is plenty of space- it isn't heavily tapered and with the flexible upper I never felt a lack of room, and I have fat toes that swell big. No debris filtered in, the "sock" fit around the ankle is spectacular. I think if you don't like a huggy fit it would not become shifty or long if you went up half a size - these are wonderfully short shoes, which is what helped eliminate the tripping. Looking forward to hundreds more miles in these!

Disappointed
The shoe disappoints. The good is that it has good support, looks good and fits according to size. However, it is hard to put on because the laces are only decorative, and the shoe fits like an unyielding slip on. It's so stiff, that when you take your shoe off, the insole jack knives out of the shoe! When worn, the shoe, though nice and light, is unyielding, feeling like upper rubber in the toe area. I'm sorry that I was so enthralled with the look of the shoe, that I wore it outside, instead of trying it out inside, so I obviously can't return it.
