Ultralight CX302 Wide shoes with secure BOA fit and carbon power transfer
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These feel like rocket shoes—super light, stiff, and responsive. The BOA dials keep my foot locked in, and the wide fit means I can go all day without hotspots."
We demand more from our race shoes than just featherweight performance, and the Lake CX302 Wide Cycling Shoe delivers exactly that. By blending a Clarino microfiber upper with Carbitex medial support panels, Lake gives us a slipper-like fit that molds to the foot while resisting stretch in all the right places. Dual BOA® Li2 dials offer micro-adjustability on the fly, keeping our feet secure and comfortable even as the pace ramps up.
Underfoot, Lake’s handmade CFC 3K carbon fiber sole sets the CX302 apart. The unique dual sole system suspends a semi-flexible inner platform above an ultrarigid outer carbon sole, reducing hot spots and numbness without sacrificing power transfer. At just 195 grams per shoe (size 44), these shoes deliver an edge in the climbs while the wide last gives 15mm more forefoot volume for a natural fit that holds steady through long, high-cadence efforts.
