Love Backcountry..great value

Kavu makes a great sling bag. This one was smaller than expected but still a great value. Fabric is stiffer, more heavy duty, but the upside is it's water resistance! Design/color was great! Backcountry ☆☆☆☆☆awesome service and pricing!

Disappointed

I bought this Kavu bag and have not been able to use it. The back is a thick, stiff pad that is larger than my waist. It is so uncomfortable. Even after breaking in, I don't think this pad will soften and mold to my body as the older Kavu bags did:( I was so excited about this purchase that I took the tags off and did not return. It now sits in my closet as a reminder of a BAD choice! So disappointed!

Perfect sling! My work laptop just barely fits so I now take it on days I bike. Haven’t travelled with it yet but I plan to ditch my fanny pack for this! Will be the perfect carry on for me. Only con is the top Velcro pocket is too small for my iPhone 13, but fits in the zipper pocket below.

My wife bought the same bag about 4 years ago and WORE IT OUT! It has been to China, El Salvador and a 2 month trip to Europe. It was time to replace it, so grabbed one for her and another for my daughter in law. They are both happy with them.

Just what I was looking for

I've struggled to find the right travel pack and this is it. The rope strap is extremely comfortable. The ingeniously placed large pockets are roomy and easily accessible. My phone is too large for the smaller pockets, by the outer zip pocket is perfect for my passport. I love having the bag in front so I don't have to worry about pickpockets, and I naturally wear straps over my left shoulder, so this is perfect. I'm currently in the Budapest airport as I write this and I couldn't be more pleased with how this pack performed on my trip.

This is the 4th rope cling bag I have bought and I am so disappointed. I dont know what Kava is doing but the material is cheap and quality is low last one I will buy.

Kavu

I ordered the Kavu for the first time. I thought it was the large size on sale as the price was red and was listed with the larger one; instead I ordered the small size Took off the tags and when I went to use it, it was too small for what I needed. Now I have a mini sling kavu that I do not have a use for. Kavu was quality made.

I have been looking for a sling bag for awhile. I kept looking at this one but wasn't sure I liked the rope. I actually talked to a woman who had one and she said she loved it and the ropes weren't a problem. I bought this one and actually really like it. There are only two things I think could be improved on: first, I wish there was some sort of a clip or hook inside to hold my keys. The zippers open the entire side of the bag up and I've had my keys fall out. Second, I wish that the top pocket on the front was a bit bigger. I have reading glasses and they don't quite fit. The pocket could be a bit deeper. Neither of those are deal killers but I do think they would improve the bag. I do like that the bottom pocket on the front easily holds my phone.
