The dead of winter brings bone-chilling temperatures that make it uncomfortable to ski or ride in, and the peak of summer brings soaring temperatures that make it tough to leave your air-conditioned home. Designed for shoulder season adventures and mild winter temperatures, the Icebreaker Men's BodyFit 200 Oasis Crew thrives in the kind of conditions you enjoy the most. This top features Icebreaker's 200-weight fabric, making it a lightweight alternative to its midweight baselayers and better suited for the cool-to-cold conditions you'll encounter during fall trail runs, spring ski days, and sunny showshoe hikes.

Great base layer
Very comfortable and breathable base layer. Have yet to use in freezing temps, but in 40-50F it’s very comfortable.

Runs small & short.
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I am 5'7", 42 chest & 34 waist. I ordered the large size based on the size chart. The shirt is cut very short. If I hold my arms out to the side, the bottom of the shirt raises above my belt line. Even higher if I reach above my head. There is no way this shirt would stay tucked in while active, as any cold weather base layer should. It also seems a bit thinner than my other 200 gram merino (SmartWool) base layers in a side by side comparison. This one is going back!

I wanted merino base layers for an Appalachian Trail section hike and the Icebreaker Oasis did the job. Fit as expected with a fee that is form fitting but not too tight. Comfortable overall with perhaps the slightest bit of scratchiness but nothing that bothered me. The Oasis base layer was warm and the merino properties were beneficial for a long sweaty hike.

Always enjoy icebreaker for higher intensity winter activities. The stop start nature of backcountry skiing. Dries quick too. Keeps the smell down. I am pretty average large size, I like the slightly longer arms yet wish the torso could be longer for staying tucked in ski pants. Great all around three season base layer.

Durable for Merino
I have bought close to ten other Merino clothing brands and I would say that I e breaker is probably the best when it come to durable and comfort.

Love!
I love icebreaker clothing. I am slowly building a whole wardrobe of wool clothing. This shirt is super comfy. It is warm when it's cold and cool when it's warm. And best of all, it doesn't stink! I can wear icebreaker shirts for days at a time on Backcountry trips, and they don't stink! I do think they run a teensy bit small, I often will size up for comfort. But I definitely very highly recommend!

lighteight, comfortable, hygenic.
Merino Wool is "The Way" I use this as an undershirt on cool mornings while on assignments in Wildland Fire. I know, you may think it's spendy... it is... but merino wool is worth every penny.
