Smooth control and easy progression with the Explore 80 Power Shift Ski for all-mountain fun
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I grabbed a pair of Explore 80s for some early-season resort laps and was surprised how forgiving yet responsive they felt. They made it easy to stay centered and linked turns without overthinking—perfect for building confidence without outgrowing the ski too fast."
From first chair to last laps, the Elan Explore 80 Power Shift Ski helps us make every run count. Elan crafted this ski for riders who want smooth turn initiation, lightweight handling, and enough edge grip to explore confidently as they improve. Whether we’re working up to blues or finding flow on familiar greens, this ski gives us the stability and control to enjoy the ride.
With its Early Rise Rocker up front and traditional camber underfoot, the Explore 80 makes turns feel natural and forgiving while still holding well on hardpack. Inside, a Mono Woodcore paired with fiberglass adds stability without excess weight, so we never feel bogged down. The Full Power Cap construction increases durability and flex, and with the EL 10.0 GW bindings included, we’re set to go from parking lot to peak with no extra setup needed.
