Smooth clipping and secure handling in the Alpha VW Sport Quickdraw Pack
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These are my favorite sport draws—light, ergonomic, and they clip like a dream. The bent gate guides the rope in cleanly, and the ribbed spine gives a confident grip when I’m hanging or reaching to unclip. They rack super neatly too, which I love for organization."
The DMM Alpha VW Sport Quickdraws are engineered for smooth clips, clean handling, and long-term durability on sport routes. Featuring hot-forged Alpha carabiners with ergonomic shaping, these draws feel solid in the hand and intuitive to use when we’re gassed and going for the clip.
A keylock nose prevents snags while cleaning, and the bent gate on the rope end channels the rope directly for quick and reliable clips. The thick nylon sling includes a rubber keeper to maintain carabiner orientation. Whether we’re working projects or flashing onsight attempts, this six-pack delivers consistent, confident performance.

Buyer beware - old stock
Carabiners are great - DMM makes great stuff. The problem - tags on dogbones date them as 2017 production purchased in 2025. Only 2 years useful life left on the softgoods per DMM's specs. Be aware you're paying full price for old gear.

Best Clips Ever
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Perfect in every way possible. Only downside to this quickdraw is that every time you clip you lose focus on climbing because gosh dern it, that was smooth clip! Is it needed to send my 10a proj? Maybe. Who cares. Smooth clips all day.

Welsh draws are the best draws
DMM alphas practically clip themselves. The gate action is the best. The dogbones are fat for those moments of sheer terror and/or strategic dogging. I get it. Spirits are a buck cheaper or whatever. But there is just something about those intrepid Brits and their draws.
