Why We Like The Backcountry Access BC Link 2.0
The Backcountry Access BC Link 2.0 has 2 watts of power, increasing its usable range to boost safety as our group chases steeper and longer lines. To make sure this two-way radio is fully charged, we simply check the new battery percentage display before kitting up for the day. The glove-friendly Smart Mic lets us control on-off, volume, channel selection, and push-to-talk, so we can keep in contact with our friends without having to dig out the base unit from inside our pack. Whether our fellow shredders are 6 miles or 40 miles away, as long as they're within line of sight, our observations and change of plans will reach them.
